USA Truck Honors 13 New Million Mile Club Members

USA TruckOn May 4, USA Truck inducted 13 new members into its Million Mile Club and honored 6 existing members who reached new milestone levels within the program.

USA Truck Sees Improvement in 1st Quarter Earnings Report

USA TruckDriver Solutions partner company USA Truck released their financial and operating results last week for the quarter ending March 31, 2013. The company saw a 7.2% increase in base revenue from the the first quarter of 2012 to the first quarter of 2013 ($97.8 million and $104.9 million respectively). FMCSA's Agenda for 2013 -- Unsafe Carriers and Mandated EOBRs

Anne Ferro, FMCSA Administrator, addressed the National Tank Truck Carriers conference on April 30 and discussed FMCSA's upcoming agenda. Agency goals include pursuing a revised commercial vehicle registration system, creating a clearinghouse of drug and alcohol info for drivers, passing an electronic logging mandate, and conducting a hunt for "chameleon" carriers - that is, companies that have been shut down for safety violations but restarted under a new name.

PAM Transport Recognizes Fuel Efficient Truck Drivers at Mission MPG Event

PAM Transport recently recognized a special group of 5 drivers at its Mission MPG event in Tonitown, Arkansas.  The Mission MPG initiative is intended to reward PAM Transport's most fuel efficient drivers through bonuses and other prizes.  A group of about 2,000 drivers have a friendly competition throughout the year with quarterly and yearly bonuses/prizes awarded to those with a performance in the top 10 percent.  At the end of the year, the top 5 drivers are recognized at an awards ceremony....

Highway Angel awardTCA adds another Highway Angel to their list -- Calvin White of St. Pauls, North Carolina.
