My husband will be the first to tell you that he doesn't deserve anything.  He has only been in a truck driving job for six months.  His trainer at USA Truck has been on the road for over 20 years, accident free.  Those are the drivers that deserve a convenience package and Jason would agree.  And to be honest, he doesn't want to be out that long.  He loves the work, but hates the time away from his family. And that brings me to why I would love to see him win this package.

Obviously, it's not because he has "put in his time"; I think he "deserves" it, not necessarily as a driver, but as a wonderful husband and father of four who after two layoffs and a possible third one on the horizon, came to the point of signing up for something he didn't want to do to keep food on our table and a roof over our head.  He's also keeping his word...that he would do whatever it took to keep me at home providing homeschooling for our children. 

$200 isn't going to replace time with the family, but perhaps he can use that money to buy something practical to make his time away a little more enjoyable.  This will put a smile on his face and that's all we care about.

Thank you for putting this contest together and I'm sure your decision will be a very difficult one, as there are many great drivers out there who have put in their time.  Jason doesn't have that on his resume, but he has our love and the love he has shown for his family deserves some recognition.
