During truck driver training school, students learn all about the critical safety procedures that help make sure they are prepared to driver an 18-wheeler. Not only is driving a big rig a huge responsibility for the driver, the driver is also taking a responsibility for the other motorists on the road. Operating a big diesel engine with a 10 speed transmission attached to a 53’ long trailer isn't easy, which is why CDL training is so important.
But keeping the roads safe isn't entirely up to the truck driver. As we all know, others on the road can create situations that increase the likelihood of an accident. To help better educate those traveling with trucks on the road we've put together a video.
