Living On The Road

Here are a few tips for living on the road from Shawn Bennett:
  1. Wet Wipes: these will be a treasured item when you need a quick clean up of your hands or just to refresh your face.  They're also pretty helpful to combat the abrasive truck stop toilet paper...LOL

  2. Truck Stop Showers: Always remember your shower shoes for one. Also, try to shower in the mid-day.  There are less people then and less of a wait.

  3. Eat lots of veggies, fruit and meats high in protein.  However, try to stay away from red meat. Sitting in a truck for hours makes it hard for your system to digest and burn it off.
Have fun and remember, this career is what you make of it. Don't let the negative people ruin your day.
