Today, we continue our trucking tips series with some advice from a CDL instructor for those just entering the trucking industry.  In this video, he brings up a great point - while the truck driving pay may be great, it's not everything.  Truck drivers must learn to pace themselves and not get caught up in only making money.

Part of truck driver training is learning when you are fit to drive and making the safest decision at all times.  Sure, there are going to be times when you begin to get tired and have the temptation to keep driving.  It's times like these drivers need to remember there are a certain amount of hours the body needs to rest.  By pacing yourself, you are less likely to get burned out and more likely to have long term success in the trucking industry.
